I’ve been walking the same dogs, Monday through Friday, for almost a year and a half and have never had any issues with their neighbors…. Until yesterday.
We were walking the same route down their cul-de-sac, like we do, and the female squat to pee in a neighbors yard, like she’s done a million times before.
All of a sudden I hear someone SCREAMING, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??”
Then some guy slams his front door open, like a lunatic, screaming about how my dog just took a shit in his yard….
I was totally taken aback and said, “she just peed, dude” and hurried them off.
On our way back, on the opposite side of the street, after she did actually squat to poop and he probably watched me pick it up (like I always do) he started yelling at me again!!!
He kept screaming about picking up the dog shit, was trying to demand to know who’s dogs they are and where I live, said he was going to call the cops - it was insane.
I did end up yelling back at him and flipping him off because he deserved it and I do not respond well to that kind of behavior, and I’m obviously keeping away from his run-down, trashy property with the gun on the mailbox from now on.
I feel bad for the dogs I watch because that’s one of their favorite sniffin yards, and now I feel bad for the cute dog I’ve seen at that dudes house.
